Get The Guide βThe secret lies in the combination of aloe vera and three vitamin B1 tablets.
This is the miracle remedy that helps orchids revive magically.
Not only does this mixture help roots grow quickly, it also makes the leaves green and firm.
It prevents bud drop and helps the flower stay fresh twice as long as usual.
I share how to make natural fertilizer for orchids using readily available and inexpensive ingredients that are highly effective. For more ways to keep blooms going strong, see how to keep orchids blooming year round.
1. Why Aloe Vera B1 Orchid Fertilizer works
Soaking aloe vera in water allows natural nutrients like vitamins and enzymes to be released, creating a nourishing solution that is very beneficial for orchids.
Vitamin B1 supports strong root development and steady growth. Aloe vera water has natural antibacterial properties that help defend against mold and bacteria.

Dissolving vitamin B1 separately helps it dissolve better before mixing with the aloe vera water.
This ensures the orchid can absorb the maximum nutrients.
The combination supports recovery, root growth, leaf strength, and long lasting flowers.
2. Ingredients for Aloe Vera B1 Orchid Fertilizer
I need one aloe vera leaf and three vitamin B1 tablets.
Prepare 1 L of clean water for soaking the aloe vera.

Prepare 0.5 L of clean water to dissolve the vitamin B1.
3. Prepare Aloe Vera B1 Orchid Fertilizer
Slice and soak
Cut the aloe vera leaf into thin slices to easily extract the nutrients from inside.
Place the sliced aloe vera into 1 L of clean water to soak.
Cover the container and let the mixture sit for a few hours so the aloe vera can naturally release its nutrients.

Dissolve vitamin B1
Dissolve the vitamin B1 tablets in 0.5 L of clean water.
Strain this B1 solution through a sieve to remove any residue, keeping only the nutrient rich liquid.
This prevents blockages when watering and helps the plant absorb nutrients easily.

Combine and strain
Filter out the aloe vera residue. Mix the filtered aloe vera water with the strained vitamin B1 water.
The nourishing solution is now ready for use.

4. Apply Aloe Vera B1 Orchid Fertilizer
Step one leaf wipe
Use a soft cloth to soak up the B1 solution and gently wipe both the top and bottom of the orchid leaves. This helps the plant absorb nutrients directly through the leaves while also cleaning off dirt and bacteria.
It supports healthy growth and helps the orchid maintain good health throughout the blooming period.

When the orchid is blooming, the leaves can easily accumulate dust or water spots.
Wiping the leaves clean helps keep the plant fresh and prevents dirt from blocking photosynthesis.
Do this one to two times a month to help the plant maintain good health.
Step two foliar spray
Pour the B1 water into a spray bottle, then evenly spray it onto the orchid plant. Spray both the top and bottom of the leaves to help the plant absorb nutrients, stimulate root growth, and support health throughout the blooming process.
You can also spray it onto the roots and base to boost the vitality of your orchid.

The best time to spray is early morning or during the cooler evening hours. A fine mist is enough to prevent the plant from becoming waterlogged.
Do not spray the flowers because wet flowers are more likely to lose their petals.

Step three base watering and soak
Water each orchid pot with the aloe vera and B1 mixture. Water directly at the base with just enough to keep the growing medium slightly moist.
This mixture helps the plant recover quickly, grow strong roots, and be ready for the next growth cycle.

It provides essential nutrients, keeps the orchid healthy, and helps the flowers stay fresh and beautiful. Vitamin B1 supports strong root development, improving nutrient absorption and steady growth. Aloe vera water helps guard against mold and bacteria and supports the plant after the flowers fade.
Watering with this nourishing solution helps keep the leaves healthy and clean, improving photosynthesis and providing enough energy for growth.
It also helps reduce stress during changing environmental conditions or when the plant struggles to bloom.
Do this one to two times a month, and if needed during bloom, one more time, but not more than three times.
After watering, soak the pot in the solution for about 20 minutes.
This helps the plant absorb nutrients optimally. It promotes strong root and leaf growth.
Step four dry and light
Use a dry cloth to wipe off any leftover liquid fertilizer droplets from the spaces between the leaves.
This prevents the fertilizer from staying on the plant for too long, which could cause the tips to rot or affect growth.
Be gentle to avoid damaging the plant.

Standing water is an ideal environment for mold and disease causing bacteria. Drying the plant helps protect it from common issues like leaf rot and crown rot.
Clean and dry leaves absorb light more efficiently, which supports smooth photosynthesis and strong growth.
When you wipe off the water, you can closely inspect the leaves and promptly detect any unusual signs such as disease spots, pests, or damaged leaves.
After soaking for about 20 minutes, gently take the orchid pot out and place it in a spot with gentle sunlight. Avoid direct harsh sunlight to prevent wilting or shock.
